Ian Baker is a master of his craft.

With a long career under his belt, Ian Baker has put in the hours to hone his skills and become a shining example of what determination can do for a man. Ian started out out on his work path with an apprenticeship as a painter and decorator. Here he was grounded in the skills that surface preparation can lead to perfection. He then took this skill-set and ventured on a new career of installing window film on commercial buildings. For 10+ years the daily grind of cleaning windows and installing solar control films that shielded the occupiers of these buildings from the harsh elements of the sun became his routine.

Delivering a fantastic product to the people of Liverpool and beyond is what drives this man. A car fanatic all his life, he can quite regularly be found at some of the classic car shows around the North West with his prized possession, a 1966 Ford Anglia handed down to him from his father.

Humble Beginnings

The Dream...The Tint Wizard was no accident. It was a concept that was formed way back in the year 2000. Ian decided that he would set himself free from the drag that can be full-time employment and began the work of building the Tint Wizard into what would be a well known brand across Merseyside.

Kirkby was chosen as the location for this humble start-up. An area with good road links that would enable the anticipated army of customers to beat a path to his door. A family man, Ian dedicated the early years of his vision into building a reputation that would stand him in good stead for years to come, whilst trying to keep on the good side of his wife Emma by being a good father...but he had dreams to be an even better window tinter!

Fast forward 17 years and Ian is still as busy as ever. He may have swopped his holiday destinations from Prestatyn to Dubai but like we all know, you reap what you sow in life.
